Welcome to GenBlkWealth. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GenBlkWealth application and related services (the "Service") owned and operated by Ugly Unicorns, LLC. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
The Service uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By using the Service you grant us and Plaid permission to retrieve information about your accounts on your behalf. You confirm that you are the rightful owner of any accounts you connect and agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
GenBlkWealth provides educational content, budgeting tools, and AI-generated coaching for informational purposes only. The Service is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, accountant, attorney, or tax professional. Information generated by the AI Coach or analytics features may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify information independently and consult a qualified professional before making financial, legal, or tax decisions.
AI Coach responses are generated by large language models and may produce errors, omissions, or "hallucinations". You are responsible for evaluating any output before relying on it. We may improve our AI features over time and outputs may vary for similar questions.
Some features (e.g., automatic account sync, Advanced Analytics) require a paid Premium plan. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may downgrade or cancel at any time from Settings; access to paid features ends at the close of your current billing period.
The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Ugly Unicorns, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. UGLY UNICORNS, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UGLY UNICORNS, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless required otherwise by your local law.
