Privacy Policy

Ugly Unicorns, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the owner and operator of GenBlkWealth, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our mobile-first personal finance application (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, display name, and profile photo you provide when creating an account.
• Financial information via Plaid: when you connect a bank or card, our partner Plaid Inc. securely retrieves account balances, transactions, account and routing numbers (where applicable), and institution metadata on your behalf.
• Budget and goal data: the income, expenses, debts, savings targets, and milestones you enter into the app.
• AI Coach conversations: messages you send to the AI Coach and the financial context (budgets, debt payments, goals) we attach to those messages so the assistant can respond.
• Device and usage data: log data, device identifiers, and basic analytics used to keep the Service stable and secure.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Display your accounts, balances, and transactions inside the app.
• Provide personalized coaching, budget analytics, and recommendations through our AI features.
• Authenticate you and protect against fraud and abuse.
• Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.

3. Plaid

We use Plaid to connect your financial accounts. By linking an account you also agree to Plaid's privacy policy at plaid.com/legal. Your bank credentials are submitted directly to Plaid and are never stored on our servers.

4. AI Processing & Third-Party AI Providers

The AI Coach feature is powered by large language models operated by Google LLC (Gemini family models, e.g. Gemini 3 Flash) and, where applicable, OpenAI, L.L.C. (GPT family models). Requests are routed through the Lovable AI Gateway operated by Lovable, which forwards your prompt to the model provider and returns the response.

What we send to these providers each time you use the AI Coach:

• The text message you type into the AI Coach.
• A structured summary of the financial information you have entered into the app: your active milestone and progress, your total debt, your monthly expenses, your planned budget groups and items (income, expenses, debt monthly payments, savings targets), and up to your 15 most recent transactions (merchant name, amount, date, category) for the current month.
• Your onboarding profile answers (e.g. goals and preferences you selected).

What we never send to AI providers: your name, email address, password, bank login credentials, bank account or routing numbers, full transaction history outside the current month, profile photo, device identifiers, or any government ID.

Before your first AI Coach message we ask for your explicit, in-app consent to share the data above with these AI providers. You can decline, and you can revoke consent at any time from Settings → Privacy; declining or revoking disables the AI Coach but does not affect any other part of the app.

Google, OpenAI, and Lovable are contractually required to provide privacy and security protections equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy, and they do not use your prompts or financial context to train their foundation models. 5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf (Plaid for bank linking; Lovable, Google, and OpenAI for AI processing; cloud hosting) under confidentiality and data-protection obligations equivalent to ours; (b) authorities when required by law; and (c) a successor entity in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

7. Your Choices

• You can edit or delete your profile information from Settings.
• You can disconnect linked bank accounts at any time from Linked Accounts.
• You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@genblkwealth.com.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date above.
